Grow your own veggies events – help, please ………
We are holding “Grow your own veggies” events on:-
Saturday 19 May, 10 till 1 at Bridges Community Centre – as part of Adult Learning Week +
Sunday 20 May, 2 till 6 at Coed Cefn, Tregare – as part of a Gwent Wildlife Trust Open Day
What we need is young vegetable plants to give out to those who haven’t done this before + might find it a bit daunting to start with a packet of seeds – so, please, if you are sowing any plants, sow some extra + let us have them for the events – further details from Ann Eggleton – 01600 780449 or anneggleton@waitrose.com.

Environment Matters: Welsh Government Environment + Sustainable Development Minister – to hear about his vision for developing local environmental improvements while improving the well being of citizens over the long term in a way that creates resilient + sustainable communities, particularly for those experiencing poverty + deprivation. Monday 14 May, 10 till 4.30 in the Morgan Cole Lounge of the SWALEC Stadium Cardiff.
